Thanksgiving Pie

For Thanksgiving may family and I made home-made pumpkin pie! It is really easy.

Get a pie pumpkin take off the stem at the top along with the pulp and seeds.

Then slice it in half and put it face down in a baking pan then cover that with foil. Bake in preheated 370 degrees F (190 degrees C) for about 1 and a half hours, or until tender.

Once it has cooled, scoop out the flesh and puree or mash it.
Put your mashed pumpkin in the fridge until needed.
After that beat 2 eggs,
add 1/4 tsp allspice,
3/4 cup brown sugar,
 1/2 tsp salt,
1/2 tsp cinnamon,
1/4 tsp cloves,
1/2 cup of milk,
and two cups of you pumpkin flesh.
Mix all that together.
Pour into a crust, bake, and you have a delicious pumpkin pie!
